Recreation
Welcome to the Town of Eddington, Maine’s Recreation page. The Town participates in regional recreation programs that provide youth and family opportunities for sports, physical activity, and community engagement. Through partnerships with local organizations and neighboring communities, residents have access to a variety of athletic, recreational, and enrichment programs that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, healthy living, and lifelong participation in recreation.
Holbrook Recreation
The mission of the Holbrook Recreation Committee is to maintain a joint recreation program within the towns of Clifton, Dedham, Eddington, and Holden. These programs are designed to teach children the fundamental skills of sports and recreational activities while building life skills and values such as character, team work, respect, and sportsmanship. We hope to build a strong foundation that leads to a life-long love of sports, recreational activities, and exercise.
Programs for basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, ski/snowboard, and outing club are all offered.

Brewer Youth Hockey
Serving the Penobscot County, Hancock County and beyond, Brewer Youth Hockey is a 501C3 non-profit organization that offers programs, such as our popular Learn-to-Skate and Learn-to-Play sessions, and our Tier 3& 4 teams at the 8U, 10U, 12U 14U, & 18U levels. Brewer Youth Hockey is dedicated to teaching individual and team skills while developing character and sportsmanship in the game of ice hockey. Brewer Youth Hockey is where skaters take their first stride toward developing into champions... on and off the ice.

Sluggers
Sluggers Baseball & Softball Training Facility is a 9,000 SF, state-of-the-art facility located on Acme Rd. in Brewer, ME. Sluggers opened its doors in February of 2013 and has been making a difference in Maine athletes ever since. We work with athletes of all ages, from youth players just starting out, to college players trying to perfectly fine tune their craft. Since opening, we have had over 5,000 members.
